“Vuselela” Biodiversity study and photowalk
Date(s) - 10/04/2021 - 11/04/2021All Day
Join me at our new property, nestled in the midst of the Deongwar State Forest. This will be a 2 day event and you are welcome to come to one or both days.
Saturday will be focused on creating a photographic record of the current biodiversity – whether your interest is the trees, birds, small plants, insects or whatever. We have a long term vision to restore the habitat and record the progress along the way. You’ll be part of capturing a record of how things progress after a bushfire and habitat restoration.
Sunday will be a more traditional photowalk exploring in the adjacent State Forest – probably the West Kipper creek area but more details about that when we get closer and I have had a chance to explore the area.
Camping: You are welcome to camp overnight and there is plenty of space to pitch a tent or a campertrailer. Depending on how many people are camping we may need to hire a porta-loo. We currently have a small composting toilet and small chemical toilet setup.
