Directions:
Heading South on the Cunningham highway approximately 19 km after Aratula you crest the range, the usual meeting area is the carpark immediately on the right. There is a toilet there but no drinking water. Watch out for the large trucks and other traffic as you are turning into and out of the carpark.
Alternatively we met at the West Gap Creek picnic area about 1.5km further along the road on the right hand side, the entrance is a little discrete but is signed. There is a lovely picnic area here with shelter areas and toilets but no drinking water.
I’d like to add to this gallery with member images from the area so if you have any to share please get in touch.
